These are affordable and well built. They fluff easily. Only complaint might be they still flatten out rather quickly at night.I like feather/down pillows. I like to fluff and shape without a constant rebound shape that most foam/other filling pillows have. Having said that, I also like a firmer pillow with high loft. What I have found from trying a lot of different pillows is that to get that very high firm loft with my queen pillows, but still soft, I must put the queen pillows in a standard size pillow protector. Although these pillows came closer than some others to what I was looking for in that regard, I did place them in a standard size protector and now they are perfect for me. I suspect they would be great for most people without doing this but for me it makes what I can't find anywhere to purchase after trying so very many different ones. I purchased these pillows more than a year ago and I am very pleased with them.I wish they were a tad fuller, very comfortable and no smell like some had said.There were a number of positive reviews and most of them are correct! These are medium-firm, down pillows. There was no funny smell when I opened the package, just a hint of typical down pillow smell. Put the pillows out for a few hours and the smell was gone. Have been using them for about 3 weeks now and they did not flatten out or anything funny. The pillows are good for the price.These pillows arrived flat as a pancake but took less than a minute to fluff out once they were removed from the plastic. There was no odor to them which is a major plus. 95% grey goose feathers, 5% grey goose down perfect for a firmer pillow.Heavy, well made pillows. I was thoroughly tired of foam rubber, memory foam type pillows. I’m an “active” side sleeper…always flipping sides, readjusting and I needed pillows that assume the twisted shape I choose to give them! Do they get flattened, sometimes lopsided? Sure they do, but a quick shake and mild beating puts them back quickly to long, fluffy shape. Foam is out, old school feather is my best sleep. The first night I wasn’t sure, but I quickly learned to love them. I always use two pillows, swapping or stacking as I like. Use two pillow cases on them to keep them cleaner and well under control. Great pair for the price.Really happy with this product- I look at different options in the stores- and off brand stores like TJ Maxx- have found flimsy pillows. These are firm, overstuffed, and very comfortable!They definitely work although they’re not as fluffy as I thought they would be. I got the extra think ones but wanted them to be more. But great for the price.No where in the product description on the amazon website could I find where these pillows were made. To my shock when the order arrived in big black letters on the box are the words “MADE IN CHINA “. Consumers should know this BEFORE ordering. There are no trade unions or laws protecting workers in China. Ethical consumers in the UK want pillows made in the UK. Also, pillows are more soft than medium in firmness.Ok so the positives are they look lovely and the cover is beautifully made and no smell from the feathers. Negatives they are as flat as a pancake and what felt like feathers clumping together, I’m sure it has an official term but in my terms one pillow in particular was lumpy, sorry I know these have lots of positive reviews but I have to be honest. These are the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever owned and I’m very disappointed. Also I saw some reviews talk about different sizes and I was not given the option of choosing.These pillows are perfect for me, but everybody is different.I sleep with just one pillow and these are soft but just firm enough for the support I like (I bought medium support) with no lumps and bumps and natural material. I cannot sleep on synthetic materials.When I opened them I thought they would be too soft as they seem very under filled. However, they are just perfect I have had many lovely nights sleep since using them.these pillows have a good quilted covering. they are 10% goose down and 90% goose feathers. the feather component helps retain firmness while the down puffs up the pillow before use. i put them out after delivery, a dry sunny day and they plumped up on their own after a few hours. i look forward to using them every night. great value. !!This is the 2nd time if bought these. Unbeatable quality. Only down side, delivery takes a while. Worth the wait if you want the very best.
